Written Picot Fan Stitch Tutorial
Multiple of 12 sts + 1.
(add 1 for base chain)
1st row (right side): 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, *5ch, miss 3ch, 1dc into next ch; rep from * to end, turn.
2nd row: 5ch (count as 1tr and 2ch), *1dc into next 5ch arch, 8tr into next arch, 1dc into next arch **, 5ch; rep from * ending last rep at ** in last arch, 2ch, 1tr into last dc, miss tch, turn.
3rd row: 1ch, 1dc into first st, miss 2ch and 1dc, *work a picot of [1tr into next tr, 3ch, insert hook down through top of tr just made and sl st to close] 7 times, 1tr into next tr, 1dc into next arch; rep from * to end, turn.
4th row: 8ch, miss 2 picots, *1dc into next picot, 5ch, miss 1 picot, 1dc into next picot, 5ch, miss 2 picots , 1tr into next dc**, 5ch, miss 2 picots; rep from * ending last rep at **, miss tch, turn.
Rep 2nd, 3rd and 4th rows.
