Crochet Petal Stitch Written Instructions
Multiple of 8 sts + 1. (add 1 for base chain)
1st row (wrong side): 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, *2ch, miss 3ch, 4dtr into next ch, 2ch, miss 3ch, 1dc into next ch; rep from * to end, turn.
2nd row: 1ch, 1dc into first st, *3ch, miss 2ch and 1dtr, 1dc into next dtr, 3ch, miss 2dtr and 2ch, 1dc into next dc; rep from * to end, miss tch, turn.
3rd row: 4ch (count as 1dtr), 1dtr into first st, *2ch, miss 3ch, 1dc into next dc, 2ch, miss 3ch, 4dtr into next dc; rep from * to end omitting 1dtr at end of last rep, miss tch, turn.
4th row: 1ch, 1dc into first st, *3ch, miss 2dtr and 2ch, 1dc into next dc, 3ch, miss 2ch and 1dtr, 1dc into next dtr; rep from * ending last rep in top of tch, turn.
5th row: 1ch, 1dc into first st, *2ch, miss 3ch, 4dtr into next dc, 2ch, miss 3ch, 1dc into next dc; rep from * to end, miss tch, turn. Rep 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th rows.
